I Was Omnipotent

Described by Charli Albert's parents as "not terrible" and "better than that neighbor kid", I Was Omnipotent is an indie-rock/pop punk band currently based out of Seattle, Washington doing their best. They've dedicated their songs to the emotions of growing up and not knowing what to do, falling in and out of love, just trying to get by in the desolation of the modern world, and anything else that has been haunting them. Charli Albert Fleck and Reilly Peavey started off as an acoustic Modest Mouse and Neutral Milk Hotel cover band with the addition of one terrible single about cats that was improvised in high school. After realizing Charli Albert can't play drums and guitar at the same time, they decided to add Chris Bowers as their percussionist and start performing original songs. They now enjoy experimenting with different instrumentations, time signature changes, and a lot of songs in the key of F#. If you like angsty, experimental rock music, then you'll likely enjoy I Was Omnipotent, and if you don't you still might as well give them a try. Enjoy!!
